I love it when bloggers offer giveaways...how fun!!! I've won a few things so far with the most recent one of them being "The Everything One-Pot Cookbook"...woo hoo!!! BUT with a new year comes a new leaf/resolution to become a better "meal planner". Thankfully, I've just found this site http://www.quickstarthomeschool.com/2010/12/meal-planning-for-the-non-planner/  and have been taking her advice but I'm sure this new cookbook is going to help me out a whole bunch with being able to plan me some meals! Have no problem asking God and people for help. John 15:5 apart from God, I can do nothing! When someone mistreats you, God will give you a double reward. John 5:30 i can do nothing of myself, etc. Humble people don't want to hurt others. Be careful about how you treat people. A humble person makes peace. Gal 6:2 - means put up with stuff. Humble people don't pressure people to be perfect. A humble person thanks God for their strengths and thanks God for their weaknesses. 2 cor 12:7-9 When we won't forgive or aren't quick to forgive it's a manifestation of pride. Matt 18:23-25 be quick to forgive. Don't go by how you feel, go by what the word says. Pride manifests itself in lofty airs, distancing ourselves from others and often being contemptuous of others. It causes insolent and rude treatment of others and an elevation and lifting up of ourselves. You think u don't need God and u mistreat other people. Wait on God to promote u. When he promotes you, he keeps u. God hates pride. A person with a pride problem almost always talks too much and at the wrong time. Don't brag. Pride goes before destruction. 1Tim3:6 Humble yourself and admit when you are wrong. Judgement and complaining come out of pride. Remind yourself that it's none of your business and that you don't need an opinion on their business. What do you about gifts for your husband’s employees and co-workers??? I make goodies and my daughter and I come and deliver them…it’s so fun! This year I made: 15 bags of Hot Crackers – YUM!!! 10 bags of sugar cookies 5 bags of chocolate covered mixed nuts 10 bags of toffee bark 10 bags of vanilla covered pretzels 10 bags of chocolate covered pretzels And the Directors & Direct Reports got: Oreo Truffles…SUPER YUM!!!

If what u do now stopped today would ur relationship w Christ continue? Isaiah 29:13- people come near and honor me with their mouth but their hearts are far from me. The people claimed to be close to God, but they were disobedient and merely went through the motions; therefore, God would bring judgement upon them. Religion had become routine instead of real. Often we slip into routine patterns when we worship and we neglect to give God our love and devotion. If we want to be called God's people, we must be obedient and worship him honestly and sincerely. Matthew 7: cast demons out, i never knew u. Act 2:42-44 - Hebrews 10:24-25 Church should b a place of celebration, not a place for you to get filled up for the week. U should be being filled up for the week. Social aspect of the church - u should b meeting together with others to break bread and minister to one another. If u r too busy to have time to be together with other families then u r by Biblibal standards too busy.

Am I coming to perfection? Growing and maturing in love. Everytime you walk in love it will cost you something. It’s that time of year again…WOW – where has the year gone!?! I pray that you are blessed this Christmas with ALL that God has to offer through His son Jesus Christ being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, dying for your sins upon the cross and raising again...He’s ALIVE!!! Any of u going through some tough stuff right now or been through some tough stuff that's kind of over but u still don't understand it? We have to learn in our life that there r tests, some of them God allows or permits, some of them he even arranges. Ignoring things is never a solution. God can arrange some of these situations to face an issue in our lives. There are things that satan does that God doesn't deliver u from right away because he's going to use it to bring u to a higher level. He has ur best interest and good in mind, what he wants u to do is to trust Him. He tests us but NEVER tempts us. God never allows more to come on u than u can bare...trust Him! Don't panic...this is ONLY a test. James1:12-14 when we r tested it shows what's REALLY in us. James1:2-3 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. *NUGGETS are my own views

These men have set themselves up as kings and have forgotten they are priests. Some of those areas are in their personal life. 1 peter 2:1-10; 2 sam 8:10-18 Bring a sacrifice of praise, when all hell breaks out in ur life you go before God letting him know you love him, you won't turn from you, etc. Sacrifice your obedience to him, deny self, etc. A king takes for himself, they expect to get what they want when they want it, they do not submit but expect everyone to submit to them, they do not serve but expect everyone to serve them. Have u set urself up as a king instead of living like a priest? 1) do u negotiate with God? (borders in ur life? You can go this far in me but no further, etc) 2) do u negotiate laws of thought or action with God in ur life? (laws of unforgiveness, what will b right or wrong in my life) 3) do u negotiate with God services that are provided? (u give me this, i'll give u that, etc) 4) do u worry about saving face (still have pride) with God?

isaiah 54:17 no weapon formed against us will prosper and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgement we shall show to be in the wrong. You already have peace, pray for revelation about how to access peace, pray for wisdom to start choosing peace. John 14:27 - peace i leave with you; my own peace i now give to you. Not as the world gives do i give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let them be afraid. God expects us to believe, not believe and doubt then believe and doubt. John 11:40 only believe and you will see the glory of God. No matter what u r going through, your job is just to BELIEVE that God is working, no matter what you feel like, trust and believe. It may FEEL like nothing is happening but it is. We also need to know God, His character and what to expect from Him. Get in the word and remind God of what His word says.
