If church shut down, where would ur walk with Christ be? Most peoples walk would fail miserably. U have been conditioned to believe that "this, going to church" is your experience of walking with the Lord. We r still called to break bread with one another, pray with one another and get together with other believers. We have got to take the Sunday practices into our homes. If u don't have ownership of practicing Christ then they aren't yours. Does your practice of Christ shape your life? Church should not b a place that you come to get filled up. If what u do now stopped today would ur relationship w Christ continue? Isaiah 29:13- people come near and honor me with their mouth but their hearts are far from me. The people claimed to be close to God, but they were disobedient and merely went through the motions; therefore, God would bring judgement upon them. Religion had become routine instead of real. Often we slip into routine patterns when we worship and we neglect to give God our love and devotion. If we want to be called God's people, we must be obedient and worship him honestly and sincerely. U should be being filled up for the week. Social aspect of the church - u should b meeting together with others to break bread and minister to one another.
