Blessing

Anytime you are going to experience blessing an attack will come. The devil goes after your weakness to destroy you. Hide in Psalm 84 (For me personally it's Psalm 91) 1 How lovely is your dwelling place, LORD Almighty! 2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, LORD Almighty, my King and my God. 4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.[c] 5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.[d] 7 They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. 8 Hear my prayer, LORD God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob. 9 Look on our shield,[e] O God; look with favor on your a

Trust God

Don't worry, be upset or try to fix it, God admires someone who puts their trust in Him. Who says, you know what God, I've done what I can do, I can't do anything else, and I'm going to enjoy the journey. To be content (AMP) = satisfied to the point that I'm not disturbed or disquieted in whatever state that I'm in...with my right now, that I'm trusting God that if it's suppose to be different today...He'll change it. If not, it is what it is, I can deal with it but I'm not going to let it steal my life. I'm self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency. Psalm 37:1-13 1 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and

Keep A Good Attitude

It is what it is, and we're going to deal with it one day at a time. (keep a good attitude) What is impossible with man is possible with God. God grant me the courage to change what I can change, the courage to accept what I cannot change and the courage to be happy where I'm at on the way to where I'm going. Don't waste your day being miserable about something we can't do anything about. *NUGGETS are my own views on things I'm learning, going through or hearing on TV or in front of my pastor or that I just want to share.

A few strange things today...

Image
So I'm beginning to start stocking up and planning for tough times in the future (ugh, like NOW!!!:) LOL A few strange things happened today and found me a bit anxious interested in things that could go wrong. Like turning on the faucet and no water coming out...thankfully we DID have water but it was a bit more like a trickle...I don't know WHY or what was up with it. Photo taken from infomediu.eu Later I tried to use my cell and all my calls kept getting dropped and it appeared that the network was down. {UGH} It happened off and on for several hours today. Photo taken from archive.constantcontacts.com All of this got me thinking of better ways to prepare for things that could happen. Thankfully, my trust is in the Lord but still I don't want to be one of the 5 virgins who weren't prepared. The FIRST in emergency preparedness (a natural disaster, terror strike, etc) is to have 1 weeks food supply and assume you have NO power. I am finding MANY great tips

I will love YOU for YOU!!!

I heard this new song today and it spoke so much to me. It really made me think how much we here on earth walk in “judgment” toward each other. I’m SO glad that those here on this earth are NOT my judge. I’m thankful that God loves us no matter what!!! Love Me–JJ Heller *NUGGETS are my own views on things I'm learning, going through or hearing on TV or in front of my pastor or that I just want to share.

It's Time

A time to cut away things that God tells u to get out, make time for whatever he's asking, get things to prepare, this is the time, u r not alone, some of these relationships are to help u along. *NUGGETS are my own views on things I'm learning, going through or hearing on TV or in front of my pastor or that I just want to share.

It’s ALL about LOVE!!!

Image
“What’s” ALL about love you might be asking!?! This walk the Lord has us on, the WHOLE reason we are here. If you have breath today it is because the Lord God has graced you with ANOTHER day to love. To love WHAT you might be asking!?! To love “Him” the creator of the universe, His creation, His creatures…God has called us to LOVE!!! Do you love to the extent that God wants you to? Do you cast judgment on others when you are hurt? HOW do you walk in love??? When your kids are grown and not getting along with you – do you cast them aside and reject the gift that God has given you to LOVE? Are you spewing from the pulpit? We are currently studying Francis Chan’s “ Crazy Love ” – WOW is it an eye-opener. I feel that EVERY church in America should have to do this study and see/realize WHERE they are falling short. Are you living for God or just giving Him your leftovers??? God wants our best, deserves our best and demands our best. In Malachi they had spotless animals but chose to k

The conversation was mostly about the weather. He then asked the barber, “did you see the interview last night with George W. Bush?” The barber said no I did not. The barber asked me if I saw the interview. I replied, “I had not seen the i

Windows 7 & Windows Live Writer

Image
I had Vista on my previous laptop and had TONS of issues with it recently. I had SO many programs on it that I was afraid most of them wouldn’t be compatible with Windows 7 so I didn’t want to upgrade it. My new laptop has Windows 7 and I’m loving it…unfortunately, I was right and many of my scrapbooking, publishing and photo editing software's are NOT compatible with it but I can probably live without some of them…just got to look into getting Photoshop but have Gimp for now. With Windows 7 is a whole package that Windows offers called Windows Live where you can do mail, photo stuff and this cool program that I’m using right now called Windows Live Writer…I’m loving it. It allows me to add a post to my blog from my desktop and then I just hit publish and viola…it’s there – WOO HOO!!! Here’s a snipping tool capture of what I see while typing this up. Here’s a menubar capture from the top.

You are More…

These days I’ve been hanging on to this new tune by Tenth Avenue North – The Light Meets the Dark . Seems they have many songs that speak to me and my friends over at JOYFM keep introducing me to more of their awesome hits. If you are toiling over something from your past there’s good news, if you’ve accepted Christ – you’ve been “REMADE”! I don’t care WHAT you’ve done or WHO you’ve done it to…God loves you, He works ALL things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28 You Are More… <p$1></p> Tenth Avenue North - You Are More from Provident Label Group on Vimeo . *NUGGETS are my own views on things I'm learning, going through or hearing on TV or in front of my pastor or that I just want to share.
