Hi there bloggyland, I hope this new year finds you in prosperity and good health. So far it has been a good year for me and I am thankful for the fresh start. Last year has got to be one of the most trying years that we've had in all areas of our life - health, marriage, financial, challenges with our children, leaving our church of 10 years and starting at a new church, etc. I'm so hoping this new year will be a better one.
Thankfully there were no major health issues but we did manage to fork out over $6K in medical bills along with $6K in health insurance premiums...that wasn't fun. God blessed us with a FREE weekend to a "Weekend to Remember" seminar - it was a great time for us to get away and be ministered to and really helped strengthen our marriage for some things that were yet to come in the year that we weren't prepared for. Financial...that leads back to the above medical bills. Our son in law won the $4 million dollar Missouri lottery in May and then passed away unexpectedly in November so that was really bad. The challenges with our children, leaving our church of 10 years and starting at a new church were all things that we definately had to lean on and trust in the Lord with. God is SO good to provide exactly what we need when we need it.
Blessings from the Lord have really been showing up for us and we are SO thankful for them.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. ~Romans 8:28
